The thought just brought a smile to my face, and allowed me to relax a little. He had been getting high from the very start of our date, so what did we have to worry about? Still, something just didn’t sit right with everything that had been going on, and I knew eventually the other shoe was going to drop. It was just a matter of when that had me concerned.
